The Lillypad is in its 23nd year of operation

The S.S. Lillypad has been serving guests fine dining and amazing views on Indiana's largest natural

lake,Lake Wawasee, for over 23 years.Schedule your cruise and prepare to sail around Lake Wawasee for a two, three or four hour cruise. Your guests can be entertained with dinner, dancing and much more.

The S.S. Lillypad's interest continues to grow every year. Bookings range from weddings, receptions, corporate outings, celebrations or just a social mixer. Woody's world-famouscruises wrapped up four outstanding cruises in its 22th year, families treated mothers to the annual Mother's Day excursions, fundraisers for local officials and non-profit organizations were big hits in 2018 and we are excited to be a part of the wonderful efforts they support.

  • PUBLIC CRUISE DATES SET FOR 2019

    May 25, 2019

    Tickets for all cruises must be purchased one week in advance. No refunds unless the cruise is cancelled by the Lillypad staff due to weather or mechanical issues.

     
    Thursday, May 23 (2-4 p.m.) – Chautauqua Wawasee Historical Cruise – SOLD OUT
    Join us for a two hour ride around Lake Wawasee with full narration of the Lake’s history and development. The event is hosted by Chautauqua, with more information and ticket purchases available at https://www.chautauquawawasee.org/   ($15)

    Sunday, May 26 (7:45 a.m. – 9:20 a.m.) Join us every Sunday Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend for the 50th Year of Boat-in Church service. First come, first serve as the Lillypad leaves the Frog Tavern at 7:45 a.m. sharp. Boarding starts at 7:30 a.m., with free coffee and pastries. Otherwise, join us on the shores of Oakwood Resort as services begin at 8:30 a.m.

    Sunday, May 26 (11 a.m. – 1 p.m.) Get a tour of Lake Wawasee and grab a bite to eat as we host a boat brunch. Quiche, deli croissants, chicken drummies, fruit salad, sausage links, potato salad and assorted coffee cakes are provided.  ($20 per person)

    Saturday, June 8 (1-4 p.m.)  Woody’s famous Buffet Cruises are back for his 24th season. Cheeseburgers on Paradise, chips and pretzels are included. Drink specials, raffle prizes and music entertainment by the lake legend Woody are provided. Tickets go fast, so contact Miss Lisa at 574-226-2546 for more details or to purchase tickets.

    Saturday, June 15 (8-11 p.m.) Brenspeed takes its high-performance engine energy to the waters with one amazing customer appreciation party. Spots fill up fast!
    Sunday, June 16 (11 a.m. – 1 p.m.) Our second brunch of the year. Quiche, deli croissants, chicken drummies, fruit salad, sausage links, potato salad and assorted coffee cakes are provided.  ($20 per person)

    Sunday, June 16 (5 - 7 p.m.) Wind down the day with a public dinner cruise on the Lillypad. Our famous oven roasted chicken and roast beef will be served, along with Antigua vegetables, baby baker potatoes, salad, roll and cheesecake.  ($35 per person)

    Tuesday, June 18 (6:30-8:30 p.m.) Lakeland Kiwanis Club will hold a meeting aboard the Lillypad. Not a member? Join one of the best service groups in the area and meet for dinner! Visit www.lakelandareakiwanis.org for more information.

    Friday, August 2 (6:30 – 9:30 p.m.) Warsaw Rotary is back for their annual Parrot Head Party on the Lillypad.     Saturday, August 3 (11 a.m.-2 p.m.) Wawasee Area Conservation Foundation (WACF) holds their annual Lake Talks and Eats series on the Lillypad, with informative information about the lake with narration and guest speakers.     Sunday, August 11 (5-7 p.m.) The Lillypad’s own Public Cruise is offering Roast Beef and Pork Loin, Scalloped Potatoes, Green Beans, Salad, Roll and cheese cakes for your dining enjoyment. ($35)

    Sunday, September 1 (1-4 p.m.) Woody Cruise, Chapter 4. Woody closes the books on another amazing season with his Labor Day Summer Send Off party. Visit the June 8th event for contact information.

    Sunday, September 1 (6-8 p.m.) Public Dinner Cruise courtesy of the Lillypad. Featuring Oven Roasted Chicken, Prime Rib, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Green Bean Almandine, Salad, Rolls and Cheese Cake. ($35)

    Monday, September 2 (12-2 p.m.) Enjoy a grilled burger or pulled pork with side dishes and dessert. ($20)

    Sunday, September 22 (5-7 p.m.) The final Public Cruise of the year hosted by the Lillypad. Pork Loin and Roast Beef, Baby Baker Potatoes, Green Bean Casserole, Salad and Roll will be served with Cheese Cake for dessert ($35).
